charge is £90 This will cover 1 to 53 portable appliance tests (with
no optional extras) o
A label will be
attached indicating whether the equipment passed or failed the tests o
FREE portable appliance testing of detachable mains
leads (IEC) which are connected to equipment being tested o
FREE minor repairs requiring no parts o
FREE portable appliance test after all repairs o
FREE portable appliance Certificate of Testing · Pricing and Additional Charges o
All prices mentioned
on this site are totally inclusive of all taxes, and were last updated on 1st
March 2008 o
In the case of a
special quotation, there may also be daily out-of-area travel /
accommodation charges o
Please note that the
minimum invoice charge of £90 applies to each location o
The portable appliance-testing
invoice will be sent by by post to your accounts dept with p/o number if
given to us. o
Payment terms are 30
days from the last date of portable appliance testing o
Payment may be made by
cheque or preferably electronically (details will be on the Invoice) o
The portable appliance
test certificate will only be issued once full payment of the invoice has
been made o
We understand and will
exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt
recovery costs under The Late
Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 if we are not
paid according to our credit terms o

The A1 portable
appliance testing service is available, 5 days a week o
A1 is usually fully
booked up for portable appliance testing at least 4 weeks in advance. This can
extend to as much as 6 weeks during the summer months. This is due to some of
our larger clients preferring to have the testing carried out when their
premises are empty or much quieter. e.g. factories and educational
establishments
o
Please try to organize
portable appliance testing at least 6 weeks in advance o
More notice will
usually be required for portable appliance testing outwith normal office
hours o
Requests for portable
appliance testing at short notice may occasionally be possible, depending on A1
workload and the number of tests required · Portable Appliance Certificate will be provided o A Certificate of Portable Appliance Testing will be sent upon receipt of full payment of the invoice Call
